This airplane was used by the Ryan School of Aeronautics right off the assembly line, carrying school #5.
Sometime in 1939 it was sold to Frank and Jack Medlin at the Caldwell Flying Service.
On January 8, 1945 the airplane was completely destroyed in a hangar fire at Caldwell, Idaho.
No further details known.
Note: The Caldwell Flying Service did have the aircraft up for sale January 1944, with a price tag of $3,000.00.
The papers are now owned by Fred L Barber, of Smithville, MO.
